What is an E-Bike?

The name “e-bike” is short for “electric bike.” E-bikes use a small electric motor to help with pedaling the bike. You can still enjoy pedaling like a traditional bike but with less effort. The pedal-assist e-bike is perfect for exploring the hilly countryside of Amish Country, Ohio.

My husband and myself, along with 2 friends recently rented bikes at Charged Ride and we were very pleased with the service and the bikes. Our friends reserved ebikes and this was a first experience for all of us. They were great and Josh and his young assistant (son maybe?)were so helpful with their guidance and set up for all of us. Do you provide a helmet and other accessories?

A helmet is required for riding our bikes and will be provided with each rental. Every bike has many accessories to choose from such as locks, baskets, cell phone holders, and more!

Do you rent regular bikes?

Yes, we offer select few models that are not battery powered. Choose from a traditional comfort bike or a road bike.

Will you deliver bike rentals to another location?

Yes, we have delivery available to all lodging facilities in Holmes County, Ohio for $35.

Our Stores

To serve our customers better we have two locations in Holmes County. Our main store in Mt. Hope has a large showroom of electric bikes as well as a selection of accessories such as helmets, bags, and Oakley sunglasses. Our Holmesville location also has a showroom of bikes and accessories and is located just down from the Holmes County Trail which is a perfect riding path for bikes.
